Mission Statement

#SaveTheErie is an initiative to promote the immediate and continued operation or our entire New York State Canal System. This campaign mobilizes local and state elected officials, residents of canal communities and representatives from a broad spectrum of stakeholder interests who support the protection of this unique National Historic Landmark, that furthermore benefits tourism, recreation, community development, agriculture, industry and the environment.
